Please keep in mind for therapy billed to your insurance you must have an active DSM-5 mental health diagnosis. If you do not wish to be diagnosed, do not wish to use your insurance or do not meet criteria for a current mental health diagnosis you are able to utilize private pay as described below.
Private Pay
Individual sessions are a flat rate of $100. Couples therapy appointments are a flat rate of $150 and are not covered by insurance in the state of New York. Some people with high deductible insurance plans choose to pay out of pocket as it is less expensive than attempting to meet their deductible. You may inquire about financial hardship exceptions.
I accept cash, check, Venmo, credit/ debit card, and HSA/ FSA card.
