Psychotherapy
People come to me from all walks of life wanting to address a variety of concerns. Some people come with a significant trauma history that has hindered their ability to truly move forward in life with an open heart and form healthy connections to others. Other people come bearing work stress or are the primary caregiver to sick loved ones. Even other struggle with chronic depression and anxiety that may or may not have a clear cause.

Most often, people have a common goal to improve their overall well-being. It is no surprise that feeling overwhelmed at work can bleed into home life and vice versa. Struggling to process and work through past trauma or hurts can cause missed opportunities for healthy and supportive relationships in the now.

Together, we will identify specific goals for therapy and address barriers to achieving these goals. It is generally very difficult to address chronic and acute stressors because it means doing something different and breaking old habits, including how we talk to ourselves, takes time and practice. With the gentle encouragement and guidance I provide, you'll be able to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, others, and the world around you.

At the conclusion of our work, you should be able to walk out of my office with your head high that you have cultivated a healthy and peaceful life. You won't have any skeletons hiding the closet and can truly move forward living a transparent and authentic life.
